The latest trailer made its debut at the 2011 Spike TV Video Game Awards, and is made up entirely of in-engine footage.
In addition to showing off the combat and war-torn city of Columbia, it provides a glimpse of characters such as Elizabeth and new enemies, including the Songbird.
BioShock Infinite sees players control ex-Pinkerton agent Booker DeWitt, who is tasked with rescuing Elizabeth from the airborne city.
BioShock Infinite director Ken Levine recently revealed that the game's new vertical location would play on gamers' fear of heights.
BioShock Infinite will be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC sometime in 2012.
