Alan Wake has been announced for release on PC.
The horror adventure, which was released as an Xbox 360-only title in 2010, will be available in the first quarter of next year.
It will feature both downloadable content packs 'The Signal' and 'The Writer', feature higher resolution visuals and Steam support.

Originally planned for PC, developer Remedy Entertainment told Digital Spy that the version was canned because of the studio's small size.
The Xbox 360 release sold poorly following its release in the United States after going head-to-head with Red Dead Redemption and Super Mario Galaxy 2.
Alan Wake's American Nightmare, a downloadable direct sequel for Xbox Live Arcade, was announced at this month's Spike TV VGAs.
