Final Fantasy XIII-2 has been given exclusive downloadable content for the Xbox 360 by Square Enix.

The DLC comes in the form of a bow weapon called "Azrael", which can only be wielded by one of the game's lead protagonists Serah.

Jointly designed by Microsoft and Square Enix, the bow weapon costs 80 Microsoft Points and will be available to purchase from the Chocolina merchants (via Xbox Live Marketplace), from Episode 2 onwards in the main game on February 7, four days after its European launch.

Named after an angel who represents spirits and death, it is said to have the ability to alter its owner's destiny. Equipping the weapon will also upgrade Serah's Chain bonus.

Additional Final Fantasy XIII-2 DLC includes the costume worn by Ezio Auditore in the recent Assassin's Creed games.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 will feature several Special Edition packages and pre-order bonuses at launch.

It will be released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in North America on January 31, 2012 and across Europe on February 3, 2012.
