'DC Universe Online' given festive update

Sony Online Entertainment has released the 'Seasons Greedings' add-on for the superhero MMO, introducing in-game decorations and new enemies.
Larfleeze, an evil alien created by Geoff Johns and Ethan Van Sciver, and his Orange Lantern Corps feature in the new content, stealing holiday items from around Gotham City and Metropolis. Both hero and villain players can embark on a bonus mission to retrieve them.
DC Comics teamed up with Sony to release DC Universe Online in 2010. The game became a free-to-play title earlier this year, and has since gained an additional 1 million subscribers.
Gazillion Entertainment revealed this week that its MMO game based on Marvel Comics characters will be titled Marvel Heroes.
DC Universe Online is available to download for PC and PlayStation 3.
