Retrode allows SNES, Mega Drive games playable on PC

Retrode has been announced for PC and Mac.

The USB device features slots for SNES and Mega Drive cartridges, allowing games to be played through any standard emulator.

The Retrode plugs in via USB without the need for drivers, and will work on any operating system.

It also features two ports for Mega Drive and SNES controllers, which can be combined for four-player gaming.

Retrode is available from January 23 and can be pre-ordered for $74.99 (£48).
