Ghost Recon Future Soldier has been given a release date.
Originally scheduled for last year, the third-person shooter will be released on consoles on May 25 in the UK, with a PC version at a later date.
A multiplayer beta for the title will be available on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in April.

"Ubisoft prides itself on creating some of the most compelling and innovative experiences in digital entertainment," said IP development director Adrian Lacey
"Today we are feature complete in our MP, single player and four-player co-op campaign modes. We have taken the decision to move the date in order to ensure that all these ingredients are pushed to the highest level and provide a truly unique shooter experience."
Lacey added: "We would like to thank all Ghost Recon fans for their patience and look forward to unveiling some exciting new elements in the coming weeks."
Ubisoft re-revealed Ghost Recon: Future Soldier during E3 2011, showing the ability to create custom weapons and use them in a firing range with Kinect.
