The second instalment of the Design and Technology Series looks at how Rockstar Games has attempted to reimagine shooting mechanics in a third-person action game.
It does this by using an aiming scheme similar to first-person shooters, as well as designing movement and weapons with a more cinematic approach.
It features an intelligent cover system and the return of Bullet Time, along with various online multiplayer modes that dynamically change within each match.
Max Payne 3 was recently delayed until May 18 in Europe and May 15 in North America.
