Square Enix has released a new trailer for Final Fantasy XIII-2.
The video highlights time travel, which players will use to visit diverse locations during a range of time periods. Time travel plays a large role in the game, as actions in one time period can impact upon events in another.
Set several years after Final Fantasy XIII, the direct sequel sees Serah and newcomer Noel travel through time to track down Lightning after she mysteriously disappears.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 will be released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in North America on January 31 and across Europe on February 3.
