'3D Classics Kid Icarus' pre-order bonus with 'Kid Icarus: Uprising'

Nintendo has announced that 3D Classics: Kid Icarus will be a pre-order bonus with Kid Icarus: Uprising in North America.

3D Classics: Kid Icarus is a port of the original 1987 NES game enhanced with 3D effects for the Nintendo 3DS. Previous 3D classics on 3DS include Excitebike, Urban Champion, and Kirby's Adventure.

Pre-orders for Kid Icarus: Uprising at "select retailers" will receive a download code to redeem the game through the 3DS eShop. In Europe it was available for free as a promotion through Club Nintendo.

Kid Icarus: Uprising will be compatible with the Circle Pad Pro attachment, remapping the stylus controls to the right circle pad. In Japan the game will also come bundled with a special 3DS stand.

Kid Icarus: Uprising is scheduled to launch on March 23.
