Visceral Games is working on a new IP, according to a recent job posting.

On the Elecronic Arts job page, Visceral Games has a listing for a Lead Multiplayer Designer to work on a "new franchise which is a cornerstone for a new EA Games Studio."

The company is seeking a designer with 5 years' previous experience of working on titles for PC or "modern consoles". The successful applicant will also be asked to mentor staff as part of his or her responsibilities.

Last year a similar listing hinted that the studio had already begun work on the new IP.

Visceral Games' past multiplayer experience comes from Dead Space 2, which added a human vs necromorph multiplayer mode.

It was revealed that the studio is currently working on Dead Space 3 on an Israeli news broadcast last year.

The company has insisted that the Dead Space movie will not be rush-released, and will not be "just a cheap cash-in".
