Announced by Project Sora's Masahiro Sakurai earlier this month, the 3D stand allows the system to rest on a flat surface or table at an optimal viewing angle to reduce wrist strain.
Kid Icarus: Uprising will also be compatible with the upcoming Circle Pad Pro, remapping the stylus controls to the right circle pad.
Nintendo revealed various new plot points and features for the upcoming shooter, which recently celebrated its 25-year anniversary.
The game sees the return of the Medusa, Queen Of The Underworld, features tank-based combat, and contains a customisable difficulty setting called Fiend's Cauldron.
Fiend's Cauldron allows players to adjust the level intensity in 0.1 increments for each chapter. Difficulty levels start at 0.0 and go up to 9.0. Choosing a higher difficulty results in better weapon drops and more hearts, which are used to buy new items.
Kid Icarus: Uprising will be released on March 23 in Europe and North America.
