Sony on announcing PS4: 'We're under less pressure than rivals'

Sony's Philippe Cardone admitted that the firm would probably be last to announce something, reports CVG.
"It's true that there are many rumours, but I couldn't tell you anything," Cardone said. "The Wii is pressed for time because it is in decline. In our case, we have a lot less pressure. We were the last to leave the PS3, we will probably be the last to announce something."
Sony has already confirmed that the PS4 will not be announced at this year's E3 event in Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, an analyst has suggested that Sony will release its new console before Microsoft, but won't launch until 2014.
Sony will, however, launch its brand new PS Vita handheld device on February 22, 2012 in North America, Europe, Australia and Latin America.
