SSX has been given a new trailer.
The video highlights a real-world location in the game, Antarctica, described as one of the planet's coldest and desolate destinations.
SSX is a reboot of the fan-favourite PlayStation 2-era snowboarding franchise, featuring high-speed courses and an all-new survival-orientated Deadly Descents mode.
EA outlined the game's multiplayer components at last year's gamescom, confirming that it will feature what is essentially a 100,000-player online mode.
Multiplayer will not require EA's Online Pass, but instead players won't be able to redeem credits from online competition to unlock new content.
SSX is scheduled for release on February 28 in North America and March 2 in Europe.
