THQ has confirmed a number of job losses outside of its development studios.
Rumoured earlier this week, the publisher has slashed 240 roles across its sales, general and administrative departments worldwide, according to Gamasutra.
Meanwhile, CEO Brian Farrell is to halve his current salary from $718,500 (£454,129) to $359,250 (£227,064) for the next year.

THQ has seen diminishing fortunes in the past few months and risks losing its place on the NASDAQ stock exchange unless it increases its share value by July.
It recently denied that it had cancelled its 2014 lineup and said that it will not be selling parts of the company to increase its value.
This time last year, THQ revealed a new company logo which represented its direction in creating high-quality, innovative and original games.
