The game's director David Jaffe confirmed the new European release date via Twitter today, stating it will now launch on March 7.
Recently, it was announced that the game would be delayed across Europe due to localization and censoring of certain scenes. However, Jaffe assured fans that the censorship will be minimal and will not interfere with the game's story.
PlayStation 2 title Twisted Metal: Black will be given away free with all new copies of the game.
A beta for Twisted Metal's multiplayer released on PlayStation Network last week.
Twisted Metal will release for PlayStation 3 on February 14 in North America, followed by the new European release date next month.
