'Ridge Racer Unbounded' Day One Edition, pre-order content revealed

Ridge Racer: Unbounded will receive a Day One Edition and special pre-order content, Namco Bandai has announced.

The Day One Edition will feature three additional cars, the Ghoster, the Immortal and the Red Wolf. It will also have five Namco-themed paint jobs for customisation including Pac-Man, Galaga, Tekken, Soul Calibur and Ace Combat themes.

The Day One Edition will only be available for a limited time as the first printing of the game shipped to stores.

Those who pre-order Ridge Racer: Unbounded through GAME will receive six additional cars including the Hearse, the Gallows, El Mariachi and the "hero cars" from Ridge Racer, Ridge Racer 4 and Ridge Racer 7.

The game is a new direction for the series, featuring the signature drift racing combined with fully destructible environments that can lead to new shortcuts and boosts.

Ridge Racer: Unbounded will release for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on March 30.
