PlayStation Vita and PS3 crossplay trailer released by Sony

Sony has released a new video highlighting the crossplay function between PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.
Crossplay allows users on both systems to play together online in titles like WipEout 2048.

Crossplay will also enable Vita games to be played remotely on a television through PlayStation 3.
Future PlayStation 3 titles could take advantage of crossplay to use a Vita's screen to provide a new perspective to the action on screen.
Sony recently announced it will be rebranding the PlayStation Network to the Sony Entertainment Network.
PlayStation Vita sales are off to a "good start" according to Sony, despite recently falling behind the PSP in Japan.
Sony's latest handheld will launch in Europe and North America on February 22, 2012.
