Cold Beam Games' music-based shooter is now available to download as a universal app for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.
Beat Hazard Ultra was previously released via PlayStation Network, Xbox Live and Steam. Like its predecessors, the iOS edition uses music stored on the user's device to generate its levels.
Compatibility with streaming radio apps such as Pandora, Last.fm and AOL Radio is a platform-exclusive feature.
The iOS edition also includes Game Centre support for leader boards and achievements, though its PlayStation 3 counterpart's multiplayer mode has been dropped. Survival, Boss Rush and Chill Out modes are playable at launch.
Beat Hazard Ultra is available through iTunes and the App Store at the introductory price of 69p.
