Converse Japan has unveiled its Super Mario-themed One Star low tops.
Due to launch in March, the Converse Japan One Star Super Mario Bros. OX will be available in two colours - a black and white premium leather version, and a white version with black and red trim.

The Converse star logo is replaced with the Super Mario star icon, while both Mario and Luigi are printed on the heel of the shoe, reports Highsnobiety.
Nintendo and Converse previously partnered to launch two Mario-themed versions of the Chuck Taylor Hi in 2011.
Celebrating the 25-year anniversary of the iconic video game character, one of the Chuck Taylor Hi tops depicted an image from Super Mario Bros., while the other featured multiple Mario sprites.
Super Mario is not the only video game franchise to crossover into mainstream fashion, following last year's announcement that Hello Kitty would team with Street Fighter.
