The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings has received a new developer diary video.
The trailer - titled 'The most complex and non-linear story ever told on Xbox 360' - features CD Projekt's developers discussing the game's story.
One of the key components of The Witcher 2's non-linear story, according to CD Projekt, is that choices are offered without judging whether the outcomes are morally good or evil.
"It refrains from judging our behaviour as good or evil and, God forbid, rewarding us with gameplay features based on that," CD Projekt's story writer Jan Batkowicz says. "Each in-game choice is self-contained, and that's important."
"Players don't need to think about how they can shape their protagonist to be good, evil or neutral. The hero's just a man who reacts to the situations the world places him in."
CD Projekt announced The Witcher 2 for Xbox 360, which will include the full game, all existing PC downloadable content and new content for the console version.
The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings for Xbox 360 will release worldwide on April 17.
