'Angry Birds' arrives on Facebook

Angry Birds for Facebook has been launched by Rovio.
The Finnish developer's phenomenally popular mobile game is available for the social network's subscribers through a dedicated app.
The Facebook edition of the game, which debuted on the iPhone in 2009, includes new power-ups and improved networking features to enable players to compete with friends.
"The Angry Birds are finally here," the developer announced. "Use power ups to supercharge your birds. Play to win and compete with your friends for gold crowns."
Angry Birds is also available for Android, BlackBerry, Windows Phone and a host of other platforms. The game has racked up more than 700 million downloads to date.
Angry Birds on Facebook is available to play free now.
