Persona 4 Arena has been announced by Atlus.
The game is a spin-off for the series that sees characters from both Persona 3 and Persona 4 battling in a 2D fighting game.

Persona 4 Arena is being developed by Arc System Works - known for both the Guilty Gear and BlazBlue fighting game franchises.
"The Persona series has had tremendous success in North America, and Persona 4 in particular opened the series up to wider audiences than ever before," said Atlus' Tim Pivnicny.
"Now we're looking to expand Persona even further by teaming up with a very strong partner, Arc System Works, to move the franchise outside of the RPG genre and develop its potential in new and exciting ways."
Atlus is currently developing Persona 4: The Golden for PlayStation Vita, which will include new characters, cutscenes and gameplay features when it releases this Spring.
Persona 4 Arena will release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 this summer in North America.
