DICE's latest update will include gameplay tweaks and balances as well as "Rent a Server" functionality for the console version.
The developer said that the fixes were introduced in response to fan feedback, and promised to make improvements to the commo-rose feature in the PC edition of the game.
"Please be aware that the commo-rose will change depending on your current position - vehicles and infantry each have separate call-outs. Each function should trigger appropriate voice messages as well as icons on the mini map," read a company statement.
"Players should keep an eye on the mini map for these icons that will flash when a team mate is requesting aid via the commo-rose."
The update will be released for PlayStation 3 on March 27 and will be rolled out on Xbox 360 and PC "soon". Full patch notes are available via the Battlefield blog.
