The tactical combat game will let players create and customize their own Ghost solider and complete missions with friends to unlock new equipment.
It will also connect with Ghost Recon Online and the upcoming Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, allowing players to unlock exclusive equipment in both games through playing Ghost Recon Commander.
Ghost Recon Commander is developed by Loot Drop, the studio co-founded by Wizardry series designer Brenda Brathwaite and id Software and Doom creator John Romero.
Ubisoft recently confirmed a PC launch date of June 15 for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, following on from the announcement that the title will debut on consoles during May.
Ghost Recon Commander is available now through Facebook.
