'Dragon's Dogma' demo coming next week

By
Dragon's Dogma's playable demo has been announced by Capcom.

It will arrive on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network on Tuesday, April 24 in North America and Wednesday, April 25 in Europe.

The demo will have two playable areas. The first will cover the game's prologue quest, letting players use the melee-specialist Fighter class and make their way through underground tunnels that culminate in a battle against a Chimera.

The second is an open field, where players will battle against a griffin using the bow and dagger wielding Strider class.

The demo will also provide access to the game's character creation tools, allowing users to create their main character and pawns which can be imported from the demo to the full game once it releases.

Dragon's Dogma will be packaged with a redeemable token that will allow owners to download the Resident Evil 6 demo.

Dragon's Dogma will be released for Xbox 360 and PS3 in North America on May 22 and across Europe on May 25.
