The official announcement of Gameloft's latest first-person shooter is accompanied by a new trailer.
The video shows lead character Kal Wardin crash-land on Earth as he prepares to arrive in San Francisco.
The impressive portable shooter is a sequel to 2010 release N.O.V.A. 2: The Hero Rises, which was praised for its presentation and well-paced campaign.
The new release is said to be powered by the Unreal Engine, although little else is known about the game at this point. Gameloft has promised to reveal more details in the coming days and weeks.
N.O.V.A. 3 will launch on iOS and Android devices soon.
