Announced last year, the Vita version of the role-playing game contains a new character, additional cutscenes, more dialogue and new gameplay features.
The portable remake of the 2008 PlayStation 2 release also features additional enhancements recommended by fans, not to mention an online rescue mode.
Persona 4: Golden can be pre-ordered from Gamestop and Amazon, although pricing is yet to be confirmed.
A European release hasn't been announced, but fans of the series are able to import the game as the PlayStation Vita is multi-region.
Earlier this year it was revealed that Persona 4 Arena would be available to North American users later this year.
The 2D fighting game is being developed by Guilty Gear and BlazBlue developer Arc System Works and features characters from both Persona 3 and Persona 4.
It will release on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in the summer, before Persona 4: Golden.
