The video shows the opening moments of the Gameloft shooter, which sees Kal Warden crash land in an abandoned, near-future San Francisco and dispatch enemies through a cinematic cutscene.
NOVA 3 will offer a number of advances over previous games, including iron sights and aim assist.
Multiplayer will also feature vehicles for the first time, customisable characters and six modes to choose from.
NOVA 3 will be available on iPhone, iPad and Android later in May, with an Xperia Play version due shortly after release.
