Need For Speed was slated for a Q3 of fiscal year 2013 release, which means that it will likely launch in its typical October slot.

The confirmation came during the same financial call in which the company promised to invest $80m in next-generation software.
Dead Space 3 was first mentioned by EA CEO John Riccitiello at a conference last year.
A logo for the game was subsequently spotted on Israeli television, after a news show toured an Electronic Arts studio. A banner for the game could clearly be seen hanging from the studio's ceiling.
Dead Space 3 is said to take place on a frozen planet and feature new enemies called "the hive mind".
The game will once again star Isaac, the protagonist from the first two games, as well as new and recurring characters such as Ellie from Dead Space 2.
Previous release Dead Space 2 launched for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC last year.
