The Hitman sniping spinoff will be available as a pre-order bonus for Gamestop customers in North America.
A limited number of codes are available for the Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network release, which is said to feature a replayable mission and prizes for the top sniper.
Customers also get access to a custom sniper rifle, which can be redeemed when purchasing the game.
Square Enix and developer IO Interactive are yet to officially unveil the spinoff, but teased an announcement for Thursday (May 10) on the game's official FaceBook page.
Officially unveiled at last year's E3, Hitman Absolution will include new gameplay features, improved enemy intelligence and a new 'Instinct' mode that will help players blend into certain roles.
Described as the "most ambitious game in the series yet", the stealth title features a "living and breathing world, where every moment can become a story".
IO Interactive told Digital Spy that Hitman Absolution will be a "more personal story" than previous games.
A prequel novel titled Hitman: Damnation will be released alongside the game, penned by former James Bond author Raymond Benson.
Hitman Absolution: Professional Edition is available to pre-order now. The game launches later this year.
