The game kicks off at 7.45pm, with half time scheduled for 8.30pm. Broadcast on ITV and Sky Sports, it is not yet known if the ads will appear together or on rival stations.

Announced in February, Medal of Honor: Warfighter follows US Tier 1 Operator 'Preacher', who is returning to his family when an explosion in civilian territory calls him and his squad back into action.

The shooter will be once again developed by Danger Close using Battlefield 3's Frostbite 2 engine.

It releases for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on October 23 in North America and October 26 in Europe.

Black Ops 2, meanwhile, was announced earlier this month.

It will be set during a 21st Century Cold War and will release on November 13 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
