Medal of Honor: Warfighter's Champions League TV spot has been posted online.

The latest Warfighter video aired during the half time period of yesterday's Champions League final between Chelsea and Bayern Munich.

Much like the Black Ops 2 TV spot, which aired during the same interval, the video largely consists of previously released scenes, alongside some original footage.

Announced in February, Warfighter follows US Tier 1 Operator 'Preacher', who is returning to his family when an explosion in civilian territory calls him and his squad back into action.

Going beyond the location of Afghanistan from the original game, it sees Tier 1 travel the globe in missions that mirror real-world events, such as eliminating pirates on the Somali Coast.

Campaign missions will feature a degree of choice, elements of co-op and returning characters. A one-shoot-kill hardcore mode will also be included.

Those who pre-order the game will unlock the Tier 1 Sniper on the day of launch, a weapon said to take 40 hours to otherwise unlock.

Medal of Honor: Warfighter will be once again developed by Danger Close using Battlefield 3's Frostbite 2 engine.

It releases for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on October 23 in North America and October 26 in Europe.
