Teased as part of this month's Game Informer cover, Microsoft will announce the title in full during their press conference on Monday, June 4 at 5pm.

The cover teases a character in chains, suggesting a prequel story explaining Marcus Fenix's incarceration before the first Gears of War.
Last month the Gears of War Kinect game, supposedly named Gears of War: Exile, was confirmed to have been cancelled by Epic Games.
Gears of War 3 released in September of last year, and recently received its final multiplayer map pack, 'Forces of Nature'. 'Forces of Nature' added five maps, including two remakes from previous games, all of which contain a theme of strong weather activity.
The E3 Expo will take place in Los Angeles from June 4 to June 7.
