The special edition features supplemental materials to learn more about the game's twisting story. In addition to the game, it will include the 336-page Assassin's Creed Encyclopaedia Second Edition and the Assassin's Creed: Subject 4 graphic novel.
The Subject 4 book contains both of the graphic novels Assassin's Creed: The Fall and Assassin's Creed: The Chain to tell the complete story of the Daniel Cross and Nikolaï Orelov narrative arc.
The Ubiworkshop Edition will be available for Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3 exclusively through the Ubiworkshop store for $109.99. The price is temporarily reduced to $99.99 for a sale running through July 4.
Ubisoft had previously revealed several limited editions for Assassin's Creed 3, which feature a range of bonuses, in-game content and additional missions.
The game is already on course to become Ubisoft's most pre-ordered game of all time.
Assassin's Creed 3 will be released for Xbox 360, PC, PlayStation 3 and Wii U on October 31 worldwide. A PlayStation Vita version has also been rumoured.
