'Max Payne 3' debuts at top of PC weekly chart

Max Payne 3 has topped the PC chart within its first week on sale.

Rockstar's shooter knocks Diablo 3 off the top of the chart and down to eighth. It is followed by Football Manager 2012 in second and The Sims 3 in third.

Elsewhere, The Sims 3: Pets re-enters the chart at nine, above fellow re-entry and Electronic Arts title Mass Effect 3 at ten.
