The news was delivered by UFC president Dana White at EA's live E3 press conference.
The deal will see EA deliver new games and content to a global audience.
UFC games have traditionally been handled by THQ.
Earlier this year UFC: Undisputed 3 was released for the Xbox 360 and PS3. It went on to top the all-format chart in the week of its release.
It followed last year's fitness title UFC Personal Trainer for Kinect.
The E3 Expo will take place in Los Angeles from June 4 to June 7.
