The Transformers sequel was originally due to release on August 31 in the US, but will now launch one week earlier on August 24, reports MCV. However, the release date will remain the same in the UK.
Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is the follow-up to 2010's successful Transformers: War for Cybertron, which is developed by High Moon Studios and published by Activision.
The game will take players through the end of the Transformers' civil war, leading to their exodus to Earth. It will include a new playable character in the form of fan-favourite Grimlock.
A PC version was recently confirmed by Activision, which will be identical to its console counterparts, releasing on the same day.
The publisher released a new trailer for the game earlier today (July 5), which showcased giant Autobot Megaplex, who joins Optimus Prime in the battle against the Decepticons.
Transformers: Fall of Cybertron is released on August 24 in the US and August 31 in the UK.
