Narrated by executive producer Steve Papoutsis, the video features both single and multiplayer action.
The video explores the game's new environments and human enemies, as well as the drop-in, drop-out co-operative play.
The co-op portion of the gameplay demonstration contains different cutscenes and dialogue, a feature exclusive to the multiplayer.
It concludes with a section involving a huge drill which can be used against the enemy, before moving onto a giant boss battle.
Officially announced at this year's E3 Gaming Expo, Dead Space 3 will take place on a frozen planet and features a new character named John Carver.
Dead Space 3, the sequel to Visceral Games' survival horror third-person shooter Dead Space 2, will launch in February next year.
