The comedian introduces his PEACH training system ahead of this summer's Mario Kart 7 Fastest Family competition.
The PEACH acronym stands for Partner, Exercise, Awesome, Communication and Hunger.
Hound's tips include recruiting a partner you can rely on, exercising the fingers and thumbs, and forming an open and honest dialogue with your teammate.
The Britain's Fastest Family competition enables families to win a Honda Jazz, Nintendo 3DS games and a limited edition Mario Kart trophy.
Regional heats will take place across more than 30 HMV stores this August. They will be followed by a Grand Final, which takes place in Birmingham in October.

Mario Kart 7 was voted the best game of 2011 in Digital Spy's end of year reader poll.
The game was also the fastest-selling Mario Kart title in history, and one of the first Nintendo 3DS games to sell more than one million copies in the US.
