The game's introductory scene is shown, recounting the events of the original Epic Mickey and setting up the new adventure with a song.
While the first game paid homage to Disney's early years of silent cartoons, Epic Mickey 2 will be fully voiced, including musical numbers - like the one seen in the introduction - more in line with Disney films.
It will also offer a number of new features including co-operative play, camera fixes and the return of permanent choice-driven gameplay.
The game also features Move support for PlayStation 3, but does not utilise Kinect functionality.
A separate 3DS tie-in is also in the works.
Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two will be available on Wii, Xbox 360, PS3, PC and Mac from November 18 in North America and November 23 across Europe.
