The two games were spotted on a Sega Japan release schedule by Andriasang. The schedule has since been removed by Sega.
The PS3-exclusive Yakuza 1 & 2 HD Edition will reportedly come on one disc and launch in December, the same month as upcoming sequel Yakuza 5.
Yakuza 5 was confirmed by series creator Toshihiro Nagoshi last year.
It will be developed by Nagoshi's Yakuza Studio, which recently completed work on Sega's squad-based shooter Binary Domain.
The plot will follow directly on from Yakuza 4 across locations such as Tokyo, Fukuoka, Osaka, Sapporo and Nagoya.
It will also provide a seamless transition between adventure mode and battles, while the camera system, loading times and character facial technology have all been improved.
