Mortal Kombat: Legacy has been renewed for a second season.
Creator Kevin Tancharoen announced that his live-action web show will deliver "more fighting" and "more visual effects" in its new run.
Mortal Kombat: Legacy's first season, which debuted on Machinima in April last year, covered origin stories for the characters, paving the way for its successor to focus on the tournament itself.
Michael Jai White and Jeri Ryan starred as Jax and Sonya Blade respectively. It is yet to be confirmed whether they, and other cast members, will reprise their roles.
Warner Bros released its latest Mortal Kombat game for consoles in April last year, before porting it to the PS Vita in recent months.
Mortal Kombat: Legacy is yet to be given an air date.
