LEGO Batman 2 retains all-format lead, Inversion fails to make top 40

LEGO Batman 2 celebrates its fourth week as the all-format number one game.

It is once again followed by London 2012: The Game in second and The Amazing Spider-Man in third, while Dead Island: Game of the Year Edition climbs to fourth.

Spec Ops: The Line drops five places down to nine, above top ten re-entry Mario & Sonic at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

Following Mind Candy's success at last week's Develop Awards, Moshi Monsters: Moshling Zoo also rejoins the top 20 at 19, above fellow re-entry Skylanders Spyro's Adventure.

Namco Bandai's gravity-based shooter Inversion, meanwhile, makes its debut outside of the top 40, charting at 50 in its first week on sale.
