Senior designer Mark Dimond hosts the video, which focuses on the single and multiplayer aspects of the upcoming title.
The single player mode is split into campaign and puzzle, the latter of which tasks players with completing certain challenges and objectives.
Objectives include eliminating a specific worm or collecting a certain crate. Players will have limited items and turns to complete each objective.
Multiplayer, meanwhile, is split into three modes: Deathmatch, Forts and Classic.
Announced in March, Worms Revolution is a new entry in the popular strategy series, and is being built from the ground up on a new engine featuring 3D terrain and characters in the classic 2D style of the series.
The game will feature a class system for the first time in the series.
Classes include the Soldier, Scout, Heavy and Scientist. Each class will have its own strengths and abilities.
It is expected to release as a downloadable title for XBLA, PSN and PC in the third quarter of 2012.
