The latest video showcases the game's multiplayer mode, which features ten maps and a custom character suite.
Demonstrating the extensive customisation tools and showing some of the battle arenas, the trailer also introduces the co-op Escalation mode.
Escalation mode sees players defend their squad against wave after wave of enemies, much like Horde mode in recent Gears of War releases.
Activision also released a selection of screenshots (below), covering single, multiplayer and Escalation mode.

The game will take players through the end of the Transformers' civil war, leading to their exodus to Earth. It will include a new playable character in the form of fan-favourite Grimlock.
Originally due to launch on August 28 in the US, the game will now launch one week earlier on August 21. The UK's August 24 release date remains the same, however.
A PC version was recently confirmed by Activision, which will be identical to its console counterparts, releasing on the same day.
