The expansion will feature four new maps and a new game mode set in Tehran after a devastating earthquake. The new maps will put players in ruined urban environments using rubble and earthquake-damaged terrain to their advantage.
It will also include new weapons, assignments, dog tags and a range of both heavily modified military and civilian vehicles to use.
'Aftermath' will be available this December following the 'Armored Kill' expansion in September. A final DLC pack titled 'End Game' will launch next March.
The download will be free to Battlefield Premium members, who will also receive early access to the DLC two weeks prior to the public release.
Beta testing for the recently confirmed sequel will be available to users who pre-order the Limited Edition version of Medal of Honour Warfighter.
