The long-awaited game will arrive as a downloadable title on PSN from August 21 in North America. No European date has been set.
Announced in 2009, Retro/Grade is a rhythm game that plays like a space shooter in reverse. Players will need to fly backwards through levels catching the bullets that had previously been shot.
It will support the option to play with either a standard PS3 controller or a guitar controller.
