Xbox 360 users will be able to live stream NASA's 'Curiosity' Rover land on Mars.
'Curiosity' is scheduled to land on Mars tomorrow morning at approximately 6.30am GMT. Images from NASA TV will be broadcast live on Xbox 360 dashboards moments before the landing.
Microsoft is promoting the event with numerous dashboard activities, such as a quiz, slideshow and video.
Users can also download the free Kinect-based Mars Rover mini-game, which sees players attempt to land 'Curiosity' using gestures and body movements.
A countdown to the landing can be found on Major Nelson's Xbox Live Arcade blog.
NASA's partnership with Microsoft is its latest attempt to appeal to a new generation, following recent reports that will.i.am would produce a new track for a space mission.
The producer has previously worked with NASA to promote science to youngsters via Twitter and has also appeared in a public service announcement on NASA's TV channel.
