'LittleBigPlanet: Karting' custom course unveiled by Sony - video
More than 350 levels were created on a daily basis by LittleBigPlanet: Karting beta testers, of whom there were 125,000.
Sony released a selection of the best levels on the PlayStation blog, showcasing traditional racing circuits, complete with power-ups, loops and springboards.
Beta testing began on July 10 and ended this past week. More videos can be found on the game's official website.
The LittleBigPlanet spinoff is said to feature similar gameplay mechanics to United Front Games' ModNation Racers.
The biggest differences can be found in its creation mode, which allows users to create entirely new weapons, tinker with the opposition AI and craft new game modes.
One level (below), for example, features a user-controlled helicopter which can be used to shoot targets.
The Sackboy-themed Karting game was outed at a Destination PlayStation Event earlier this year.
It was officially unveiled by Sony in March, and is thought to be Move-enabled and support 3D visuals.
