'Modern Warfare 3' 'Chaos Pack', 'Final Assault' screenshot gallery

By
Modern Warfare 3's final content drops have received a new batch of screenshots.

Officially announced last week, the 'Chaos Pack' will launch on August 9, while the 'Final Assault' collection releases on September 6.
Both packs will release as timed Xbox 360 exclusives, costing 1200 Microsoft Points each (£10.80/$15). PS3 and PC dates will be revealed at a later time.

The 'Chaos Pack' adds new maps, Spec Ops missions and a game mode. New missions are named 'Vertigo', 'Arctic Recon', 'Light 'Em Up' and 'Special Delivery', while Face Off maps include 'Vortex', 'U-Turn' and 'Intersection'.

Chaos Mode, meanwhile, sees players attempt to outlast waves of enemies, chaining together kills on power-up-heavy maps. It takes place on the 'Resistance', 'Village', 'Underground' and 'Dome' maps.

September's pack features the recently outed 'Gulch', 'Boardwalk' and 'Parish' maps, as well as 'Offshore' and 'Decommission', the latter two taking place on abandoned oil rigs and rotting ocean liners respectively.

The release of the 'Final Assault' pack will take Modern Warfare 3's DLC tally up to 29.

Call of Duty: Elite subscribers will have exclusive access to the content before it's released as a paid download.

Activision recently confirmed that Call of Duty: Elite has 2.3 million paying customers. Despite the impressive figures, however, it was revealed that sales of Call of Duty DLC are down on previous years.
